After we had a leek(escape of water) As first time claimants, I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to expect. John at A1 Claims Assessors made it so easy. He handled all communication with the insurance, did all the paper work. Took all the stress and pressure off me. And most importantly got us very fair compensation. We had a water leak recently in our attic which came down into the bedrooms. We didn't experience anything like this before and didn't know what to do outside calling the insurance company. A friend gave us A1's contract details and we dealt with John who was excellent from the first minute. Took over everything, dealt directly with the insurers and made sure we were covered for everything. He spotted issues we wouldn't have even thought of. We had a garage fire which took out our cold water, heating and hot water.
The insurance assessor called out the next day and started the process. Even though I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, I proceeded on my own until someone mentioned to us that we need our own Assesser. I contacted A1 and John was out to us the next day. From the start he advised us and made it seem for the start that we had someone on our side fighting for us. He got us an interim payment to get the water and heating back on. Which is something I didn’t even know existed. John did the rebuild cost so all we had to provide was the content loss.
From start to finish John had our claim sorted in 2 months which was a lot faster than it would have been if I’d dealt with it myself. John even answered questions when he was away on holidays.
We will be forever grateful to John.
